The City of Hazard hosts ideal communities that are focused on safety, opportunities, access to goods and services, positive relationships between citizens, and have common values and goals. Some of our neighborhoods have been known to throw "block" parties where neighbors come together and fellowship. This may be labeled as old fashioned by some, but is one way Eastern Kentuckians display a sense of pride and heritage by keeping family values and community togetherness at the forefront of our society.
Hazard features movie theatres, an amphitheater located beside City Hall, and The Forum located near the south end of the City limits. The Forum is a cornerstone for the arts to produce live and taped programming materials and presentations.Forum Info
