Our Public Works Department supports infrastructure projects, financed and constructed by our local government for recreational, transportation, employment, and health and safety uses within our community. This includes public buildings, municipal buildings, schools, transport infrastructure such as roads, bridges, pipelines, public spaces such as public parks, public services such as water supply, sewage, electrical grid, and other, usually long-term, physical assets and facilities.
We also conduct tree and leaf-litter removal, grounds-keeping for various areas throughout the city, and snow removal to provide safe travels throughout our streets.
